About the Speaker:
Andy has degrees in both Physics and Electrical Engineering with focuses on Solid State Devices as well as Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS). His Ph.D. From the University of Michigan in 2004 focused on wireless sensors that spanned applications in biomedical as well as environmental monitoring systems.
In 2004, he joined Senseonics where he is currently Director of Engineering in the Research and Development Division working to make long-term CGM sensing a reality. His team’s work focuses on system architecture and algorithm development, for both current and next generation advanced CGM systems.
During his academic and professional career, he has published over two dozen papers, and holds many patents in the field of sensors related to long-term, in-vivo performance.
